  Parental lockout
  The tv played fine except the buttons stopped working and i couldn't turn down the volume. I took it to a tv shop who told me it was the parental lock and I need the original remote. I once I got the tv back home I plugged it in and now it won't even come on. Help.

  no sound/no picture
  when i turn on my tv set and it runs for awhile, then it goes mute. if i turn it off and then back on, i get no picture or sound, just a message going across the screen saying "please wait" "Thank you for your patience" after about 10 minutes the tv turns itself off.
