time flashing, won't save
I keep setting the time and saving it. Then, once I turn it off and power on again, the time flashes 12:00. Anyone know why this is happening or how I could fix it. BTW, it's plugged into the wall outlet.

When setting up to auto record daily, how do you designate a channel? When I set it up, I only have a choice of Line 1, Line 2, or Line 3.

Copying a VHS Tape

low sound output
This machine outputs video fine, but the audio output is very low. I use the Scart plug, but I have tried the Audio RCA skts.
I ahve tried all settings PCM, Analog2c, and ven bitstream. None give a normal audio level. Is there an adjustment or setting I may have wrong?

Difficult to Use, It;s cranky
Lacks a means of the user being able to see what is going on. Can't control it's operation, It works in the dark. Not the least bit user friendly.

RF Modulator
I needed one for another DVD/VCR recorder (Phillips/Magnavox) but I can't get the Panasonic to work with the RF Modulator. I'm not sure if I'm hooking it up incorrectly or if I even need the RF Modulator with the Panasonic DMR-EZ485V. Does anyone know?

Need help
I does not read a DVD properly and therefore after the DVD signal comes up on the TV screen the DVD machine says "reading" which is normal but then the TV screen goes blank and the DVD player continues to say "reading." What could be causing this? It was working fine up to this point.
