Hard Drive recording
Four the past couple of weeks I have been unable to watch a programme from the beginning while it is still recording and now, the hard drive says I only have 14 mins recording time left, even though I have about 50 hours in SP. Deleting progs already recorded makes no difference. Any idea please?

DVD cannot be played
We have had our Panasonic DVD, VCR, TV unit for about 4 years now, and all of a sudden, when we put in a DVD, we get the message "this type of disc cannot be played. Please insert a different disc."

Can this model VCR play a VHS tape made in the UK? The tape can only play on American Dual Format (PAL/NTSC) VCR. Or also called Universal Multi region.

vcr don't work
my vcr is not working at all. sometimes it will play for 20 seconds and then turn offf by itself. when we first purchased it it worked perfectly now it been almost 1 year after and now the vcr part won't play anything. please help.

Sound Problems When Recording
When transferring an 8mm tape from my Sony handycam to my Sony DVD recorder the sound fades away. It never completely goes away, but it is so low you can't hear what's being said. How do I fix this problem?

When I put in a disc or even when there is not a disc in it it says:
Disk Error
--Please eject the disc.--
Playback feature may not be available on this Disc.

the unit dubs dvd to vhs just fine BUT when i dub vhs to dvd it stops dubing right in the middle and completely stops. can't find anything in thee m anuaal that explains this amd it just started one day without my chaging any settings. ,HELP!!!!!!!

Recording Problem
I recently bought the above recorder and although the machine works perfectly I have a problem trying to record from an external DVD player [two types] to the machines DVD player when connected to the line 2 jacks the recording picture is perfect but I cannot get any sound at all, any ideas?
