"Safe" mode message
I'm getting a "Safe" message in the front panel display and the remote and front panel eject/close buttons will not work. I can push on the dvd tray and it will close and I can then play or record, but when I eject I again get the "Safe" message.

Factory settings
How do I reset the LG to the factory settings after I changed the normal / wide screen ratio, and can now not get any visuals on my TV screen ?
Keep in mind I can not see any dialogue from the LG.

unable to play DVD-R's which I've recorded on my Philips DVDR3320v/19
I'm unable to play on my Philips DVP3350v/02 DVD/VCR-combo my own DVD-disks which I've recorded via my old Philips DVDR3320V/19 (DVD recorder/VCR).
However original DVD-disks purchased in a shop does not give problems.

I have tried over and over to copy a VHS to DVD but can't seem to figure it out. I think the problem is with finalizing but it doesn't finalize. How can reset to factory settings? I think it may have asked the very first time. I am so frustrated. Please help me. Thank you.

I accidentally selected "output channel selection" and the screen went blank.I unplugged it for 1/2 an hour, but cant get any thing on the screen.
Nothing wiil work,only "setup" will display in the window. thank you for any suggestions.

I can not record from the movie channels. (Verizon FIOS) I get "copy protection" errors code 45, sometimes code 26. and the unit will not record. When I try to open/eject the unit displays the word "SAFE" and it will not open. I have unplugged and then used the paperclip thing to actually open the dvd and after I close the unit the word "SAFE" is displayed again. HELP PLEASE
