  "test" info on screen
  buttons, on, off, etc. won't work instructions on closed caption etc., sleeper mode, scroll down screen that is all

  I do not have the original remote but I want to get to the menu to set up the channels, or will this TV only go up to channel 22 when hooked to cable?

  can't get video mode to turn on my magnavox tv
  i can not get my tv to switch over to the video mode to view videos . there is no tv/video button on the remote. so how do i do this. i know it works because i did use it before, but i forget how to change it over.

  i bought my television from circuit city - it was the floor model so no owners manual or remote control. How do i get the closed caption to work?
