Will not hold time setting
After the clock is set, it reverts to another time in a while. Cannot get correct timer taping requested.

Remote control doesnt work
I put brand new batteries in the remote control. The control does not work. I aimed it at a digital camera for a while and the remote did not respond. I even tried the am radio suggestion, but this did not work either. I just purchased this unit at Walmart today (6-12-09).

Clock Resets for no reason
Everyday I record certain TV programs.
Everyday the time as changed...
The clock time is off by several hours so I have to reset the clock so the recording will take place at the propper time.
The player changes time without instruction.

I have Comcast limited basic cable - no cable box. But have Modulater & hooked up per manual. Have followed instructions (100 times at least). I buy this product and the thing is that my baby manipulating the control pressed some buttons and now there is only the sound but no picture. The screen appears black, even you can listen to the movie.

DVD door will not open/DVD will not eject

Ripped Off?
I bought a magnavox surround sound system on ebay. The buyer told me it was a DVD recorder. I received it and I don't see a record button, and the system was sold without a remote. Is this model, MRD120/17, a recorder or just a DVD player?

Will not play DVD made on my Computer
I have burned some DVD's on my computer which play fine on my Sony DVD player (model SR200P) but will not play on my sisters Magnavox DVD player (model MWD 200GA)
Her DVD player and remote work fine to turn it on, open drawer, insert disc and eject disc. But cannot bring up menu nor play DVD.

Problem Playing
I have had my DVD player for quite some time and just recently, when I put in a DVD it wont play. I blew the inside of the DVD player just in case there was dust in there and I cleaned on the disks. What could be the problem? Is it time to get a new one?
