  reads open
  The recorder side reads "open" when the tray is closed. The tray will not open. I have tried disconnecting the power and it makes no difference.

  laser problem
  some times the cd player model 63 signature will not recognise the disc,have been told it,s a problem with the laser,can anyone tell me if the serial number will be on the old laser when i remove it.i have a website thar supplies the new laser but i need the serial number.any help would be much appreciated. geoff walsley

  error message
  When I insert a CD into my 2003 CDR300 recorder, I am getting a message: CDR ERROR. Same CDs I used for ages; tried different ones. Figure the old girl has finally had a problem. Can you tell me what? I am a voice teacher who uses it daily so I'm in a bind!
