    non functional
    digital shows 'HOLD' whenever any button is pressed. This includes the on/off button. Anyone have any ideas short of taking the unit to a repair shop

    CODE U61
    my player will not play or record properly. The U61 Code comes up and the dvd door opens up. I could not find anything in the manual or the trouble shoot guide.
