    stuck dvd

    DVD cannot be played
    We have had our Panasonic DVD, VCR, TV unit for about 4 years now, and all of a sudden, when we put in a DVD, we get the message "this type of disc cannot be played. Please insert a different disc."

    Problem playing DVD's
    We have had our Panasonic DVD, VCR, TV unit for about 5 years now, and all of a sudden, when we put in a DVD, we get the message "this type of disc cannot be played. Please insert a different disc." At first, we thought it was a defective new disc, but we tried again with many of the DVD's that we have owned and played many times. ANy suggestions??

    VHS Ejects without playing
    I can insert the tapes that I have recorded myself from TV shows, etc., but any pre-recorded movie tapes, exercise tapes, etc. that I have purchased will not play, they just automatically eject. I thought it may have something to do with the tab on the tape that can be removed if you do not want a tape recorded over so I tried putting cellophane tape over the tab on the movie tapes, but that makes no difference. Any suggestions?
