  my player has stoppod all operations and is displaying a coe of F09. I cannot power off or go to standby mode by pressing the appropriate button and removing the power cable did not help reset the unit as described in the manual

  When I try to open/eject the unit displays the word "SAFE" and it will not open. I have unplugged and then used the paperclip thing to actually open the dvd and after I close the unit the word "SAFE" is displayed again. HELP PLEASE

  Have sound, no video
  Need help in hooking up to new Vizio HDTV. I am getting sound, but no video. TV screen shows DVD logo even when VCR is playing the sound. Am using S Video cable and red and white RCA cable on AV-1. I do get video on the DVD part. Help please.

  My folks have a NV-VP32 combo DVD / Video player and this has stopped operating in the middle of the tape playing. The error code "F09" appears on the front panel - but the only reference in the manual referes to "No Sound or Distorted Sound" - can any one help?
