    English language user manual
    I did not receive a user manual in English and have contacted Sony several times to find out where I can obtain one including the sony dealer in cyprus from where i purchased it from.

    DVD Player
    loud humming noise & dvd stops --
    when I press stop & play, dvd resumes playing.

    No Picture
    I accidently activated the progresive scan and now I've lost my picture so now I can't see the Menu to reverse the action.

    I signed up to download the Sony RDR-VXD655 owners manual that you stated was available on your site. Clicked "Get this Manual" and the page didn't display. That's the only reason I signed on.
