remote/mode (sp,lp,ep)
I've been trying to find a way to change the mode (i.e. sp,ep,lp) for this vcr, and from what I understand I need a remote in order to do that. so I guess I'm looking for a remote for this model. if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

1) I want to record to VHS from TV. I have Comcast Digital DVR box.
2) Also want to record to DVD from a show recorded on the Comcast DVR. Can it be done directly from the TV as I watch the program?

timer record menu problem
cannot program a timer recording from TV onto video cassette because menu lists only Line 1 and Line 2 as choices. Do not have cable or satellite box, so how do I state which TV channel to record?

DVD player
After trying to dub a home movie from vcr to dvd, the dvd locked up and now it won't recognise any dvds or even shut off. Is there a reset button.

can't play vcr tape or dvd
the machine is turned on and dvd as well as the vcr lights are lit up, but when I push the play button nothing happens. I just get white snow. Is there a buttomn o0n the machine or on my remote that I have to push to play either the vcr or the dvd?

error msg
I had to hook up a seperate vcr to my combo to try and get some of the vcr tapes I have onto dvd and I keep getting an error msg "The TV system ofthe video input has been changed." What does this mean and what can I do to fix it?

Hard Drive recording
Four the past couple of weeks I have been unable to watch a programme from the beginning while it is still recording and now, the hard drive says I only have 14 mins recording time left, even though I have about 50 hours in SP. Deleting progs already recorded makes no difference. Any idea please?

VHS Tape from UK
Can this model VCR play a VHS tape made in the UK? The tape can only play on American Dual Format (PAL/NTSC) VCR. Or also called Universal Multi region.

DVD Player stopped working
DVD player doesn't work.
One time we put in a DVD and ever since the day we ejected it ...it hasn't worked.I have tried all those codes it tells you about for adult content...etc. NOTHing works! Can you help?
