  I have read the manual, but i can't seem to find how to use the recorder to record from my cable box. HELP!!!

  DVD recorder will not power on
  My SV2000 WV10D6 DVD recorder won't turn on. It doesn't seem like any power is getting to it. The power outlet is fine as other things plugged in to it works. This problem just happened suddenly last week. I still have a dvd burned by this machine that hasn't been finalized yet so really want to fix this problem so I can save the disk. Please help. Any advice would be appreciated.

  No lights when turned ON
  When Unit is plugged in, The lights do not come ON when turned ON. Unit is inoperative
