    dvd recording error
    "error in recording to disk"

    E 4 54037380 is coming up everytime i try to record something. what is going on and how do i fix it?

    recording vcr to dvd
    recently purchased sony dvd-rw dvds to record some video to said dvd. all i record is snow.

    shuts itself off
    the DCD/VCR recorder shuts itself off after just a few seconds.
