  the drawer is slow to open. Once it closes, it says loading and never loads.

  the player stopped playing th dvd . none of the 2 large buttons in front light up blue. only the stanby light is on. it does not respond to the remote. i cannot open the tray containing the dvd.

  The Open/Close button does not function either manually or with the remote- the unit is receiving power but will not function- 3 years old-

  No Response
  I hadn't played a DVD for a while. Then, today I got 2 new Netflix movies but the DVD player won't turn on. It receives power as the red light is on beneath the ON/STANBY label. I press the ON?STANDBY button.. but nothing happens. I press again & unplug for 1 minute. Still nothing. I unplugged for 2 hours...Still nothing. I pressed the OPEN/CLOSE button...nothing. Why won't it turn on?
