  hard drive not working
  my hard drive is now all of a sudden not working? when i use timer its not coming on.it shows i have no titles when there schould be three. when i use timer on the dvd recorder side no problem is there some sort of reset? rca drc 8030n all idid was un plug it and thats when all this started

  it wont boot. it just keeps telling me "hello" cant get past that. cant get to a menu to do anything

  Have a refurb unit. Had to take it to a local RCA repair shop and they fixed it. Recently the hard drive failed and, since it is a refurb, the repair company said they couldn't do anything for me-they could not get hds from their supplier.
