  connecting Handycam to a PC...how!?
  Recently, we purchased a 2nd-hand Hi-8 (Handycam model CCD-TRV87E). Among the few accessories is a "patch cord" which has a USB connector at one end and an inexplicably tiny, flat, wide rectangular...'end', of some sort. With no manual, it took 20 minutes to finally discover the input (cleverly hidden behind a removeable plastic plate), but... am I missing a crucial add-on, which the tiny end plugs into? Offering S-Video, OR (stereo audio red & black, plus yellow video) RCA plug-ins, but nowhere can I find a slot for the tiny rectangular end. I presume there were two separate ends (for one input option or the other), but on its' own, the patch cord seems useless, and connecting to a PC seems impossible. Help!!

  How to download fromHi8 to computer Hard Drive
  I have video recorded on Hi8 video tapes that i would like to transfer onto hard drive of a computer. I do not know how to connect camcorder to PC or to download video. Please be so kind and help!

  iam not able to play the recorded cassette on the TV in USA. This cam was purchased in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.
