hi.
i am having the EXACT same problem..
it started when i was watching a movie..
i heard a bang, then the display went, but the sound was still there.
after the couple of seconds, the sound went too. now i get the power button blinking thing.
i called magnavox, they said update the firmware. i tried, no luck.
they gave me a phone number for a local repair conpany, and they charge $125 just for looking at whats wrong.
help please.
