screen standby

I've had this product for about 4 years and for the last couple of months while watching the tv the screen automatically goes to standby then after a couple of seconds turns itself back on again. Sometimes it can do it 3 or 4 times in 5 minutes.

    i'm having a similar problem with mine - except its repeatedly going into standby,not coming out of the loop of resetting. there dont seem to be any indicators like error light codes. if anyone knows whats up i'd be glad of the help. i've tried disconnecting everything and turning back on - same issue

    Another with this problem... could it be the lamp needing replacement? Though no error code flashes. Anyway to find out lamp hours in the menu maybe?
