progressive scan problem

i have problem with my dvd player
its in progressive scan mode and cant see picture by video in and video out i have also changed its regional setting from HK to IN so please tell me how can i reset my LG DVD Player DK8721P to default settings again:-

Turning Progressive scan off

Remove any disc from the unit and close the disc tray. See that "no disc" is displayed on the display window. Then press STOP and hold for five seconds.
Picture should return to COMPONENT VIDEO OUT port.
