RCA LCD Flat Panel TV

external speakers

external speakers will not work with my new rca tv,why?

    dirtydirtwork has solved his problem. To begin with the audio jacks on back of tv are not wired, they do not work.i learned this with a volt meter.
    i soldered a wire on to the speaker wire in side the set, then hooked it to a new speaker and it worked.there is not enough audio voltage to drive the old style speakers.
