how to delete a timer recording set in timer recordings.

Purchased a liton dvd recorder/player from tescos last year never got proper instructions. only where it says to download from this site. and called engineer to help. and he coudnt do it.
need to find out how to delete a program planned to record. does not say how to do it. and keeps coming up conflicting with others. please can you help
