We have model EIDW6305GS1A dishwasher, about 3 years old, lost manual,. There is about inch of water remaining at bottom of washer after cycle finish. Works ok otherwise. What is problem?

0 Hello lemwong, thank you for your post! The standing water could be related to a communication issue with the control or drain pump assembly issue. Most dishwashers have a glass trap located in the center of the filter designed to collect pieces of broken glass, straws, pits, etc. You should simply be able to grasp handle and left it out. Once you empty the filter you may wash it warm soapy water if you prefer and then rise and place it back. If the appliance makes a grinding noise then there is a possibility that the unit has a faulty drain motor. If the instructions above do not solve the problem, I am fairly confident that an authorized service agent will be able to restore your appliance to its normal operating condition. You can often locate a qualified service technician on the manufacturer website.

0 Hi, just had this problem myself. The cause was the drain tube had a blockage in it. I just loosened the clamp that hold the tube to the kitchen sink drain and dislodged some gunk....not a lot came out but now it works fine
