Clarion DVD Player OHMD84

No sound

No sound. Just subtitles. Bought car used and don't know how to get sound.

    Since there is no volume control on the DVD itself that I can figure out the sound may be controled at the radio. Yes?

    I asked at the Ford dealership and the guy said it is controled at the radio. He said just go to AUX and you get sound on the DVD. I went home and tried it. Nope. There may be more to it. But what?

    This is one solution. You buy ($50) this modulator thingy from Radio Shack and listen to your movie. Buy one for everyone in the back seat. Up to 5 people. That's $250. No more problem. Nice, Clarion.
