VTech Video Game Console Computer Pal In Concert

Time to Throw it???

Hi there. Have a Computer Pal In Concert that worked when we put it away in the cupboard, but not when we took it out!! The 'monitor" works fine, but it's like the keyboard is not being recognised by the computer. Mouse appears to be recognised/to work, but we are unable to select any games or functions due to the keyboard not working. Any suggestions? My 3 children LOVE this thing! It would be great to get it up and running again. Thank you for your help.
