The TV was purchased in Jan 2006. Yesterday (Aug 31, 2008) it started turning on by itself followed by the volume going to 100. When I pressed the volume down on the TV it switched to the color bar and set it to zero. So, now I have an RCA Color TV that turns on by itself in B & W.
