How can we make the dvd recorder region free ?

  • Region free cheat for Medion MD82999

    On the remote control press "setup";
    scroll down to the exit block of menu;
    press the "exit" button then 2960;
    using the right arrow you can select "region free" then press "enter";
    press "setup" on remote to exit.

    Worked a charm for me! Good luck.

  • Medion MD82999

    I tried the suggested method for making the Medion MD82999 region free. All went as expected in terms of getting to the region setup, but the player still did not read DVDs as expected. Meaning it is still, somehow, locked??
