Philips Projection HDTV 9P6044C1

picture contractions

While watching TV, when the majority of the screen shows a bright picture, such as a white background, the picture contracts and becomes very bright. As days pass, the frequency of this occurance has been increasing. This happens to both the "A" input and side video.

Any suggestions?
