Televison problems

Each time I turn my television on it turns back off automatically after 15 seconds. The top red light will stay red when it goes off and the 2nd red light blinks several times before it goes out.

    I have the exact same TV and just started having the exact same issue...any luck finding a solution?

  • LG DLP Front Projector 52SX4D

    Yes, lamp and ballast was defective. I was told by ServiceCare the Authorized Repair persons for the LG product that parts would cost $567 and Labor $225. The $75 diagonistic & $25 for pickup and delivery was not included in the cost of repairs. They also said repairs was gauranteed for 30-days. If you know how to repair it yourself you can send a e-mail to the LG company and they will give you the information of parts companies that will sell you the parts. customerservice@lge.com

    Thanks for your feedback. Not necessarily the news I was hoping for, but I guess I've prepared myself for the worst.
