1.Readandfollowsafety precautions and allresponsibilitiessectionsset forth in the operators manual
2.Makesurethelift isonafirmand levelsurfaceandthatthereareno potential hazardssuchasoverhead
obstructionsor electrically charged conductors, usetheliftwheresuchhazards exist.
3.Checktheliftfordamagedorwornparts and repair orreplaceasnecessary.
4.Check to be sure thatthecageis properlyattachedtothelift.
5.Turnmasterpowerswitch to on.
6.Check to be sure all safetydevicesarefunctioning properly.
7.To operateliftfromthe ground turnandholdlower control switchto"lowercontrol"settingthenselect
eitherupor down function.
8.To operateliftfromthe platform, turn lowercontrolswitchto "upper control" setting.
9.Makesurebatterycharger cord is disconnected from outlet,placedbackinto its box andlidisclosedand
latched.LIFTWILLNOTOPERATE IF LID IS NOT CLOSED SECURELY.
10.Enterplatformandbe certainthattheentry gate is closed completely. LIFT WILL NOTOPERATEIF
ENTRYGATEIS NOT CLOSEDCOMPLETELY.
