Question About Black & Decker Coffeemaker DCM100B
Took apart...

I took it apart and now I cant get the water hose hooked back up.I forgot how it goes.

5 I recently purchased a B&D DCM100B. The basket valve does not open properly and coffee drizzles off the back of the basket, down the carafe and overflows the hot plate. I have tried reseating the basket, realigning the carafe. No help. So far this looks like the worst coffee maker I've ever had.

0 I have the problem with mine. Are these defective? Will the over spilled coffee cause me to get shocked or my kids if they get close enough? I wondering if this is a dangerous problem. I dont have the receipt so I cant return it to the store I bought it from. I dont know where to go from here.

0 I do not know what store you bought your coffee maker at,but most stores will exchange the product with out a receipt.I called B & D an told them my problem an they told me to bring it back.No receipt was required.I got their 800 number from my pc.Most stores will give you a refund if they do not have another to exchange with,even with out a receipt.Call Black & Decker first an tell them your story an see what they say,then go from there.If not B & D then call the company who made it.I wish you all of the best,an hope my info was helpful.George A.
