Adjusting the computer image
To adjust the computer image:
1 Make sure that your TV/DVD combo is in VGA mode. For more
information, see “Selecting the video input source“on page 12.
2 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens with the Picture menu
displayed.
3 Press or to highlight Settings, then press . The Settings
menu opens.
4 Press or to highlight VGA Settings, then press ENTER or
. The VGA Settings submenu opens.
5 Press or to highlight an option, then press or to adjust
the option. You can adjust:
• Auto Adjust—Automatically adjusts the image settings
such as position and phase.
• H-Position—Moves the image right or left
• V-Position—Moves the image up or down
• Clock—Adjusts the sample frequency
• Phase—Adjusts the focus to stabilize the image
6 Press MENU to close the on-screen menu.
Changing the PC video resolution
To change the PC video resolution:
1 Click Start, Control Panel, then double-click Display. The
Display Properties dialog box opens.
2 Click the Settings tab.
3 Change the screen resolution setting to a supported resolution.
The ideal resolution for your TV/DVD combo is 1360×768. Click
OK, then click Yes to save your changes.

The following table shows the suggested screen resolutions.
If “Unsupported Signal” appears on the screen, adjust the PC display
setting to correspond to one of the settings in the preceding table.

Selecting the audio language
You can choose from one of the four preset equalizer (EQ) modes.
To choose an audio language with the remote control:
• Using the remote control, press SAP repeatedly to cycle through
the audio stream options. The options available depend on your
TV provider.
• In analog TV mode, select one of the following options.
• Mono—Select this option if there is noise or static from
a weak broadcast signal.
• Stereo—Select this option for programs broadcast in
stereo sound.
• SAP—Select this option to enable audio in an
alternative language.
• In digital TV mode, select the preferred audio track language
(when available).
