Operating the Booster for HDMI with EDID Detective
HDCP Control
In order for the Booster for HDMI with EDID Detective to pass HDCP content (e.g. Blu-ray,
etc.), DIP switch 4 must be set to the OFF (up) position. This is the factory-default setting.
In some cases, computers will enable HDCP if an HDCP-compliant display is detected.
To force the computer to ignore detection of an HDCP-compliant display, set DIP switch 4
to the ON (down) position.
HDCP can also be controlled using the #ddcmode command.
