To record another file during playback of a recorded
service:
1. Press the OK button and a list of files will be displayed.
2. After moving the cursor to the Operation window, select Stop
and press the OK button. A file being played will stop.
You can also stop the file by pressing the numeric ‘5’ button
during playback.
3. Once a file has stopped playing, your STB will return to
normal viewing. Therefore, recording can be activated.
But a reserved recording during playback of a recorded stream will
be activated in the background and a reserved view will not be
activated.
A channel on the Channel list will be surfed when changing
channels.
You can change channels on the same transponders (and the
changed channels will be displayed). When moving to another
transponder, if the transponder is connected to loop through or
a splitter, a movement to another transponder of the same
polarization will be acceptable (and the changed channel will
be displayed).
However a movement to a transponder with different polarities is
unacceptable because it changes the tuning parameter of a
channel being recorded and there is a case where recording can’t
be complete. Therefore, even the Channel List displays only the
channel list that can change channels.
Regardless of the current recording, all channels can freely be
surfed through Tuner A (and this is a recommended signal input of
PVR8000).
Trick mode operation: No Effect
To stop the current recording, press the RECORD( ) button and
activate the Record window. And move to the Operation window,
select Stop and press the OK button(or press the numeric ‘1’
button on the Record window).
