What to do when ...

a) The signal is not being decoded because the
decoder channel positions in Main
Information – AV Connections
– Decoder Channels – For Decoder at AV ...
are not highlighted in blue.
b) The sound is missing in decoder mode
because Sound from AV socket ... – has not
been set correctly under
Main Information – AV Connections –
Decoder Channels.
The “Sound over ...” item has been set to “Hi-fi
system” in the sound menu under “Sound”.
Menu language was accidentally set incorrectly.
In the “Displays” menu, “no” has been se-
lected for time, wake-up timer, sleep timer.
In the “Displays” menu, “no” has been
selected under “Sound identifier”.
a) Under the “For Decoder at AV ...” sub-item,
highlight the channel positions where the
decoder is necessary.
b) Correct setting (see decoder instructions).
Change setting to “TV”.
Set your menu language:
1. Call up the TV menu (if no menu is
displayed), press the MENU button.
2. Select the last menu line “Language” and
press the OK button.
3. Now select the correct language and
4. ... confirm with OK.
5. Remove the menu with the END button.
Highlight “yes” in the “Displays”
menu for each item.
Highlight “yes” in the “Displays” menu under
“Sound identifier”. Press the END button and
the channel name and sound standard will be
displayed. If the broadcasting station changes
the sound standard, this will also be indicated.
