Firmware Update
This is for possible future updates. Enter your four-digit
password using the alphanumeric keypad.
− If you have not yet set a password, enter ‘0000’
(default). To set or change the password, see page 35.
Software update screen will appear. Select { Yes } and
press OK.
The set will go to Standby mode, once successfully
update the rmware.
Periodically,Philips will issue upgrades for the rmware
that was initially installed in your recorder as the
rmware is continuously re ned for greater stability and
compatibility of the recorder.
Caution! Power supply must not be interrupted during
upgrade!
Visit Philips website at ‘www.philips.com/support’ to
check for the availability of the latest rmware upgrade.
Note: When checking for the latest rmware
upgrade,please also check for any accompanying
instructions on installing the rmware.
Product Version
Information
Displays the information of product hardware, software,
version and release date.
Restore Default
This feature enables you to return the setup settings to
their defaults without affecting the recorded titles in the
HDD.
Select { Yes }, and press OK.
The setup settings return to their defaults, and the
recorder automatically turns off.
