Activating your SIRIUS
subscription
To activate the SIRIUS tuner/receiver, you
have to nd out the SIRIUS ID code from
either the tuner/receiver itself, its package,
or from the display panel (follow steps
given below) and make a subscription to
the SIRIUS satellite radio.

To nd out the SIRIUS ID code
A Connect the SIRIUS tuner/receiver to the
SIRIUS jack at the rear of the main unit.
B Press RADIO repeatedly until ‘SIRIUS’
appears on the display panel.
C Tune to channel ‘0’.
The 12-digit SIRIUS ID number
appears on the display panel. Use /
to scroll the display.
D Write down this code number for easy
reference during activation.

Selecting a SIRIUS channel
A Connect the SIRIUS tuner/receiver to the
SIRIUS jack at the rear of the main unit.
B Press SOURCE repeatedly until ‘SIRIUS’
appears on the display panel (or press
RADIO on the remote control.)
C Use the cursor up/down keys or the
numeric keypad on the remote control
to select a channel number.
Helpful Hint:
– All the ‘Invalid Channels,’ ‘Unsubscribed
Channels,’ ‘Locked Channels’ can only be
tuned in using the numeric keypad on the
remote control.
Checking the signal strength
Press AUDIO.
The display panel shows the current
transmission signal strength.
EXLTSGNL Excellent signal
GOODSGNL Good signal
WEAKSGNL Weak signal
NO SGNL No signal
