Progressive scan is on son got a hold of the remote. No progressive scan button on unit nor on the remote. Have sound with blue screen. Looking to remove this feature but have no manual for the unit anymore. Can someone please help?

Product Problem: problems with dubbing

When I dub from video to DVD, I'm unable to play the DVD on any other equipment. I've tried it multiple times using Sony RW DVDs. I've finalized the DVD as well. The DVD works only on the machine I copied it on. It won't even work on other Sony DVD players. I've read the instructions many times and don't see I'm doing anything wrong. Is it just this type of machine? Any ideas on what I should do?

Hi I am trying to program the vcr to record but all the channels aren't setup for recording. I went into the menu setup option to do the channel setup but it doesn't allow me to pick it out of the option list...do you have any idea how I do this??

Unit shuts off after a few seconds when you play or FF or REW or REC on VHS tape. anybody know what the problem is? This unit is almost a year old, and just started doing this.
