Rumor has it about remotes crappin out. Well no longer a rumor, and I'm disgruntled. I just bought an RCA universal to use my television once again but I would like to do some playstation action without running across the room. Whats the magic number to make this remote like the origional?? (or is there?)

Product Problem: unable to connect pc to tv vga cable

I am trying to hook my pc to the tv using a vga cable. When I press "input" in order to arrow down to select VGA, thehighlight bar will not move! I cannot select anything but TV. If I press video, comp or HDMI, then input in attempts to arrow from that position, it goes right back to TV. I have tried using all arrows, volume and channel. I have also tried using buttons on the side of the set. HELP!

I forgot to include that I have already contacted Tech Support. No help there.
