The side part of the DVD for TV functions used to work the TV. I was experiencing sluggish operation of the TV remote, which would work for a while and then stop. Now the DVD remote won't work. The recorder was prone to freezing at times & I would always kill the power & switch on, this never affected the DVD RC. Now that the TV RC wont work neither will the DVD RC.
