Help what is E4 Code.

I have a different model Magnavox DVR/VCR, and I found out only by accident how to use it with my TV - a Toshiba unit. On my TV remote, there's a button that says TV/VIDEO. When I press that, I cycle through several settings - Video 1, Video 2, etc. I have to use both remotes. I set the TV to Video 1, and then I can watch TV through the DVR/VCR. I can also record to either tape or disc. My DVR/VCR will only record to DVD+R (or RW). Good luck.

I have this combo for a year. Now I set up the clock and then set up the vcr to record using the timer recording but doesn't work. When I turn on the vcr again I find that the clock isn't working, is in the time that was when I set up. What is the problems with my equipment?

On setup I switched Box from RF OUT to RF THROUGH and now it doesn't work. All I see is a snowy screen when the converter box is on. How can I get the box switched back to RF OUT?

The clock on my unit won't hold the correct time. I reset it again last night, following the instructions in the manual, but it advanced 3 hours, probably at midnight. This is new, but has happened several times now. Could this be tied to the switch to Digital TV? How can I permanently fix it?

No responses to my post, so I played around with some of the settings. I've been able to work around this problem by turning off the Auto Reset on the clock feature. It should be OK until the next time change.
