Product Problem: Problems connecting

I bought this unit a couple of days ago from wal-mart, to my bad luck, i trow away the sales receipt, otherwise i will returned this piece of lemon back to the store, i tried to connect different ways, with no results,I have a Comcast cable connected to my tv set with ONE round coaxial input, I CAN NOT GET THIS THING WORK. Please help.
