We have multiple VR634HF and VR637HR VCRs and occassionally get 'Err' in the window. We have to power off and on to get the tape out.

We even change the belt and still get the Err in the window.

What does 'Err' mean and how do we fix it?

It should go this way: press Set once to get the first alarm set (red in color) alarm Icon on left Use Large button with left and right arrows to change time twice for second alarm (red in color) alarm icon on right third time ACTUAL TIME (BLUE in color) Icon on left of numbers after set leave it alone.

When I push the number keys, the tones are very distorted. Will even get to the point where it will not dial. If I unplug the power and remove the batteries, it will reset itself. It is a new phone,(second one both the same problem) Visys model # TC25204RE1-A
