I can't reset my atomic clock. After replacing the batteries, I wait, hands move to 4, 8 or 12, then I depress a button but hands do not move... I don't know the model #, but it has PT, CT, MT and ET buttons on the back

I had to reset my clock in order for it to pick up the outside tempurate because the batteries were dead and it's been a long time since I first got this clock. I'm really unsure as to whether or not the time on my clock will reset itself or not, so if I could get some input on it, that would be great. Also, the satellite icon to the right of the time has yet to go away. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not.
