Day/Date Memory...

My set is about five years old. When I program the Day and Date the next day it is gone. What am I doing wrong?

0 Benn using the system for several years and today when tried to play a vhs it would not. Also, unable to locate the manuel. Has anyone had this problem and can anyone provide manuel assistance.
