So I bought this TV in July 08. In October 08 the picture would not turn on and but the sound is present. I have been communicating with the person I bought it from to get information from their authorized dealer to get it fixed by Akai (no luck so far). The picture now works most of the time, but instead of not working when the tv is first turned on, it now shuts off at variable times while the tv is on (once the tv is shut off and turned back on it is fine for a while). I am not sure of what the problem is.
