Alba TV DVD combo, model LCD19A DVD. On switch-on the stand by LED blinks, the screen is off, there is no way to display anything using the remote or the side buttons.

0 I am answering my own question here, in case it helps somebody else. The fault was failure of the PSU panel. Luckily I found a replacement on Ebay, sold by "Recycling lives". It is from a different TV model, but it has the same part number (Vestel, 17 IPS 16-4) and it works OK.
