Remote issues...

My remote just stopped working....I've replaced the batteries, and still no luck. Any suggestions??

2 I called the manufacturer for a replacement remote, just got it. I think they are just cheap and break easily. I am also looking for a code for my GE Universal remote but not found one yet.
