I have AT&T U-Verse and a Bose Cinemate II GS soun...

I have AT&T U-Verse and a Bose Cinemate II GS sound system. I can't make the U-Verse remote operate the Bose or visa versa. None of the codes seem to work. If you can help me I'd be very grateful!!
