5 A “database empty” message simply means that your set top box has no channels to display and show. This message is usually displayed when trying to use the receiver after tuning has failed due to the lack of an available satellite signal. You can get rid of the message by making sure that you are receiving channels and this is facilitated by an available satellite signal. Check the connection of your set top box and ensure everything is fixed properly. You can also restore it to its default state. This will make it scan new channels automatically. Try it and see how it goes. All the best

0 I am using a Bush Digital set top bob CDVB52. It has been working fine until yesterday the 15th Dec 2014. I am using One For All Amplified indoor Digital Aerial SV9360 which was also working fine for over a week. Then suddenly I lost picture and all channels. I tried to re-scan channels but nothing. I restored it to factory settings/default settings and still nothing. I tried using another set top box but still the same thing. Is anybody experiencing similar problems? Any advice on how to restore channels will be greatly appreciated.
