vcr turn on and off...

no clear instructions on how to use comcast remote ...to turn on vcr.

5 I find it very hard to believe that as big as comcast is that there is no information available on the universal control that they have and it usage....the instruction comcast gave me we very vague and no help at all>

0 I cannot setup the VCR to record a program. I do not have a DVR. We have a digital box and should be able to use the VCR as before, but I set it up, it seems to be recording, but when I play it back - nothing but fuzz - no program.
